Solutions for Physicians
eHealth Ontario works with OntarioMD, a subsidiary of the Ontario Medical Association, to offer doctors information technology products and services to help connect them to each other and the other parts of the health system.
www.OntarioMD.ca is the portal built on eHealth Ontario technologies that offers access to health news, alerts, journals, drug interaction databases, information on clinical trials, patient information materials and ONE Mail.
- eHealth Ontario also works with OntarioMD to provide electronic medical record systems to doctors. Where doctors host a system on their own computer, we offer ONE Network connections so information can be shared. We also host an electronic medical record system in our data centres, using ONE Network to connect physicians to their patient information.
- We also connect doctors to hospital systems from their off-site office, speeding up and simplifying the flow of information.
