eHealth Ontario creates and hosts portals for clients, for instance the Public Health Division of the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and OntarioMD, a subsidiary of the Ontario Medical Association.

Included with this service are:

• Creation of areas requiring password access
• Ability to send e-mail notifications to a mailing list, and
• Areas for collaboration, similar to bulletin boards or chat rooms
